Nearly everything Mankind creates, a Mould is used to make it, Students can research and perfect many ideas, and will find the WaxPod a very useful tool. Teaching Staff can use the WaxPod for Art, Design Technology and Science based modules of the curriculum.

WaxPod encourages exploratory play encourages use of motor skills, stimulating the senses of touch and vision, cause and effect.  It helps extend children’s interest by creating a curiosity within the whole process of modeling and colouring with wax.

Creative play helps develop the Child’s individual way of expressing their ideas, thoughts and feelings. Whilst the constructive side of WaxPod helps children understand and develop an understanding of different materials and techniques, through mould making and casting.

WaxPod encourages children to use their eyes to follow a process, development of hand  co-ordination and encourages finger control. Wax is an interesting texture offering some variety to touch, helps develop and encourages understanding of cause and effect.

Wax as a medium as an important way of enabling children to discover a sensory experience, giving the child time to explore a new medium.
